Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Hours/Day: 8
Shift Notes:
Full-Time Day Shift 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Full-Time Evening Shift 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM (both shifts include rotating on-call weekends and holidays)
Weekend Requirements: Based on case load, may result in overtime
On Call Requirements: Yes, will be discussed during the interview
Hourly Rate: $29.00 - $30.00 (with shift differential after 3:00 PM)
Role Overview:
The Mobile Radiologic Technologist is responsible for providing mobile X-ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other locations. You will perform X-rays using portable digital or computed radiography equipment, ensuring that clinically diagnostic and technically competent images are obtained. You will also submit or transmit images to a Radiologist for interpretation. EKG services may be required, and EKG results will be transmitted to a Cardiologist as needed. This position involves regular communication with dispatch and management and maintaining both vehicle and radiology equipment.
Responsibilities:
Perform and process X-rays using portable digital or computed radiography equipment.
Submit or transmit X-ray images to a Radiologist for interpretation.
Unload portable X-ray equipment and take it into facilities to perform exams as ordered by the physician.
Obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent X-ray images.
Perform EKGs as needed and transmit the results to a Cardiologist for interpretation (if applicable).
Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily as per protocol.
Communicate regularly and efficiently with dispatch and management.
Interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
Maintain the vehicle and X-ray equipment.

Ability to push/pull 50100 lbs. (weight decreases with the use of ramps and pulleys, but can increase in facility or home environments).
Technologists may encounter up to 50 lbs. of force 16-24 times per day.
Must be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the role, including using vehicle ramps and pulling equipment.
Requirements:
Maintain required state licenses and/or ARRT certification.
Valid drivers license in applicable state and in good standing.
COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory. Exemptions require proper documentation.
