Job Title: Radiology Tech

Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 (depending on experience)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Radiologic Technologist (Radiology Tech) to join our healthcare team in Logan, WV. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures and ensuring the highest quality of care and safety for our patients. This role is crucial to assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions by producing high-quality radiographic images.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform radiologic imaging procedures, including X-rays, in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, ensuring comfort, and positioning them appropriately for optimal imaging results.
Operate and maintain radiology equipment, ensuring it functions properly and safely.
Adhere to radiation safety regulations and protocols to protect patients, staff, and oneself from unnecessary exposure.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide accurate patient information.
Maintain accurate patient records, including imaging reports and documentation of procedures.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards related to radiologic procedures.
Must-Haves:
ARRT Certification: Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
State Certification: Valid state certification in West Virginia to practice and administer radiation.
Highly Motivated: Demonstrated self-motivation with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Qualifications:
Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, radiologic procedures, and safety standards.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient care.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accuracy under pressure.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a hospital or outpatient radiology setting.
Additional certifications in advanced imaging modalities such as CT or MRI.
