Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Location: Parkersburg, West Virginia
Shift Type: Varied
Shift Times:
8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
12:30 PM - 9:00 PM
Hours/Day: 8-hour shifts
Weekend Requirements: Rotating weekends
On-Call Requirements: Yes, discussed at the interview
Hourly Rate: $29.00 - $30.00 with shift differential after 3:00 PM
Job Summary:
The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for providing mobile diagnostic imaging and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other various facilities. The ideal candidate will perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and provide high-quality imaging services with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform and process X-rays using portable DR or CR radiography equipment and submit/transmit the images to a Radiologist for interpretation.
Perform EKGs as needed and transmit results to a Cardiologist for interpretation.
Safely transport and unload portable X-ray equipment into various healthcare facilities.
Ensure that high-quality, clinically diagnostic, and technically competent X-ray images are obtained.
Regularly communicate with dispatch, management, and clients in a professional manner.
Maintain equipment and ensure it remains in excellent working condition.
Follow safety protocols and maintain patient privacy at all times.
Manage and scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents per protocol.
