Job Title: Sonographer
Location: Green Bay, WI
Shift Type: Days
Shift Times: Monday through Friday, 1st shift
Hours/Day: 8 hours/day
Hourly Rate: $35.00
Annual Salary: $62,400 (based on 40 hours per week)
Role:
You will provide ultrasound services in various healthcare settings, including nursing homes, home care facilities, prisons, and other medical facilities. You will travel between locations in the Bay Area, utilizing company-provided equipment and a company vehicle, to perform ultrasound examinations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide mobile ultrasound services in designated regions.
Perform and process ultrasounds using portable sonographic equipment and digitally transmit them to a Radiologist for interpretation.
Maintain a high standard of medical ethics and professionalism at all times.
Ensure all physician orders are accurate before conducting exams.
Obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent images.
Communicate efficiently with peers, management, and dispatch teams.
Maintain vehicle and ultrasound equipment in proper working order.
Ensure all patient information is kept confidential and comply with HIPAA regulations.
Complete daily paperwork, billing, and scanning of exam-related documents.
Adhere to infection control standards, including TB screening and medical exams, at the time of hire and annually.
Participate in ongoing training and support for fellow technologists as needed.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift 18-20 pounds of equipment and transport it to various facilities.
The equipment bag is placed on a wheeled cart and may need to be pushed for up to 250 feet.
Requires 5-8 lbs of sustained pulling/pushing force and may involve long periods of driving between locations.
