Shift Times: Flexible hours (Mon - Fri, possible half-days on Saturdays)

Hours/Day: 8

Weekend Requirements: Half-days on Saturdays

Hourly Rate: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Job Summary:

You will provide mobile ultrasound services, including general and vascular exams, in a variety of healthcare settings throughout Virginia. You will travel to nursing homes, home care facilities, and prisons using portable sonographic equipment to capture clinically diagnostic images. This role requires independent operation, effective communication with dispatch and clients, and maintaining high ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform and process ultrasound exams using portable sonographic equipment

Obtain clinically diagnostic and technically competent images

Perform general and vascular ultrasound exams, and process images for radiologist interpretation

Communicate effectively with dispatch, peers, and facility staff

Maintain and transport equipment to various locations

Check patient orders for accuracy and confirm patient identity with two identifiers

Ensure safety and quality standards during all procedures

Attend meetings and follow company protocols, dress code, and safety regulations

Maintain vehicle and equipment in proper working order

Scan and process exam-related paperwork/billing documents daily

Adhere to all company policies, including maintaining a valid drivers license and professional credentials

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift and transport equipment, which may weigh up to 20 pounds

Ability to pull equipment for distances up to 250 feet using a wheeled cart
