Job Title: Sonographer
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Shift Type: Days
Shift Times: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday-Friday
Hourly Rate: $36.00
Job Summary:
The Mobile Ultrasound Sonographer provides ultrasound services to various facilities such as nursing homes, home care centers, prisons, and processing sites. This role requires travel to different locations using company-provided vehicles and portable sonographic equipment. As a Mobile Ultrasound Sonographer, you will perform ultrasound exams, process the results, and transmit them for physician interpretation, ensuring accuracy and professionalism in all tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Travel to assigned locations to perform mobile ultrasound services.
Perform and process diagnostic ultrasound exams using portable equipment and transmit them digitally for interpretation.
Conduct thorough patient identification and check exam orders for accuracy before performing any procedures.
Maintain communication with the dispatch center and ensure real-time updates on the case load.
Ensure sonographic equipment is well-maintained and troubleshoot any malfunctions promptly.
Handle and transport ultrasound equipment safely to and from locations.
Adhere to company protocols, including wearing uniforms and maintaining proper conduct at all times.
Attend required meetings and training sessions as needed.
Follow all infection control, health, and safety protocols.
Train other technologists as needed.
Complete and submit billing and paperwork as per protocol.

Requirements:
Registered with ARDMS or CCI for vascular ultrasound.
Must be registered in vascular (ARDMS: RVT, CCI: RVS, or ARRT: R.T. (VS)) at a minimum; dual modalities preferred.
Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound technology program.
Maintain required certification, registries, health, and operational requirements.
Valid drivers license in good standing at all times.
COVID-19 vaccination required or proper documentation for exemption.
