Job Title: Sonographer

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana

Hourly Rate: $37.00

Shift Type: Days

Shift Times: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Hours/Day: 8

Shift Notes: Monday - Friday, no weekends

Salary Range: $76,960 annually (based on 40-hour workweek)

Role Overview:

The Mobile Ultrasound Sonographer will provide high-quality mobile ultrasound services to various nursing homes, home health care facilities, prisons, and other locations within the Bay Area. The Sonographer will be responsible for traveling between sites, performing diagnostic ultrasound exams, and digitally transmitting the results for interpretation.

Key Responsibilities:

Transport and unload portable sonographic equipment to perform exams as ordered by physicians.

Perform and process ultrasound exams and transmit them for radiologist interpretation.

Ensure clinically diagnostic, technically competent images.

Scan exam-related paperwork/billing daily per protocol.

Regular communication with dispatch, management, and clients.

Maintain and care for sonographic equipment and vehicle.

Ensure all orders are accurate before conducting exams.

Verify patient identity using two patient identifiers.

Adhere to infection control policies and complete required annual screenings.

Must be registered with ARDMS or CCI for vascular ultrasound.

General registry required: ARDMS credentials (RVT, RDMS (AB), and Echo).

Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound technology program.

Maintain required certification and registries.

Must possess a valid drivers license.

COVID-19 vaccination required (exemptions considered with documentation).
