Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Manage the accounting operations of the company's accounting department.

Reconcile accounts and finalize financial reports for management review.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and reports.

Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and resolve account issues.

Assist with the preparation and coordination of audits.

Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Oversee payroll processing and ensure accurate payroll tax reconciliations.

Participate in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.

Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

CPA certification preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.

Experience in Agriculture, Construction, or Manufacture industry is preferred.

Strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulations.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
