Our client is a leader in their field and after a successful period of consolidation, they are now entering an exciting phase of expansion and actively recruiting for growth across all functions of the business. They are now looking for an experienced HR & Payroll Administrator to join them who will look after a team of apporximately 40 staff and liaise with their external payroll provider.

You will be responsible for the day to day administration of HR, payroll and other central service office functions. With a varied range of responsibilities, this role will be crucial in keeping the employee life cycle running efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Provide administrative support to the recruitment and selection process, including advertising, interviews and induction.

* Ensure that all HR records, administration and monitoring activity is upto-date and provide statistics and reports upon request.

* Maintain the HR database in line with data management procedures

* Coordinate and support training and development activities for all staff, internally, online and with external training bodies as required.

* Support the payroll function of the organisation

* Take responsibility for the accurate and timely administration of payroll, supported by the Director of Finance and Director of Corporate Services

* Respond to queries from staff and our external payroll provider about pay and reward

* Eensure that an accurate record of all payroll changes are recorded and that variation letters are issued to staff as a result of these changes

* Collate additional payroll information, such as overtime and other one-off charges or payments.

* Pass on an up to date report on payroll changes to our external payroll providers each month

* Liaise with our pension company regarding starts and leavers and amendments.

Skills and Experience

* High level of numeric and written skills

* Experience of administration ideally within a finance office

* Highly IT literate, with previous knowledge of HR databases, Office 365, Share Point and organisational systems
