Job Summary:
The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting and clerical tasks to support the financial operations of the company. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Process invoices, verify financial data, and ensure timely payments to vendors.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment issues.
Assist with the preparation of financial reports and audits.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
Proven at least 2 years experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
