Job Summary: 

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and assisting with the overall financial management of the company. This role requires accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.

Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.

Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.

Assist with payroll processing and related accounting tasks.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Stay current with industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

At least 2 years of experience in accounting or a related role.

Experience in Agriculture, Manufacturing, or Construction industry are a plus.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Relevant certifications (CPA, CMA) are a plus.
