Forest Care Selection are working in partnership with a leading national care provider, who support adults with various specialist conditions. They operate several services across the country including residential, nursing and rehabilitation services for adults with a range of needs, including acquired brain injuries, learning disabilities, complex physical disabilities and individuals with autism.
This quality focused provider has a requirement for a Supported Living Manager to work from their regional office based in Bideford, North Devon.
The Supported Living Manager in Bideford, North Devon will:
* Manage a team of care professionals that support adults requiring specialist care, in a supported living environment.
* Work across multiple supported living services based in the North Devon area.
* Oversee the services and ensure their continued compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
* Supervision and development of an established staff team.
* Implement systems and procedures designed to achieve positive outcomes for individuals with a disability.
* Oversee the financial management of the services, with close support from the regional management team.
* Liaise effectively with all external stakeholders.
The Supported Living Manager in Bideford, North Devon will need:
* Previous management experience working in a similar supported living, homecare or residential setting.
* Multi-site experience, ideally across supported living services.
* An excellent understanding of delivering complex care to adults with learning disabilities, Autism or complex needs.
* Strong communication skills and able to lead from the front
* Minimum of Level 4 in Health & Social Care or be prepared to work towards.
* Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.
