About the role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant with a specialism in SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of supporting students who exhibit challenging behaviors, helping them navigate their educational journey with positivity and care. Your role will involve working closely with teachers to implement tailored strategies that foster a nurturing learning environment, promoting both academic and personal growth for every child.
Your ability to connect with students on a personal level, coupled with your understanding of SEMH needs, will be key in helping our pupils overcome barriers and achieve success. You will play an essential role in maintaining a safe, supportive classroom where every student can thrive.

• Experience working with children with SEMH needs.
• A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to inspire and motivate pupils.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEMH needs.
• Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
• Support the class teacher in creating an inclusive classroom environment.
• Monitor and report on the progress and well-being of students under your care.
• Engage with parents, guardians, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for the students.
