Healthcare Assistant
Location: Sedgley, DY3
Pay Rate: £14.00 - £16.00 per hour
Shifts: Part-Time | Days (10:00am - 4:00pm) | Nights (9:30pm - 8:00am)

Meet Our Client
We are looking for compassionate Healthcare Assistants to support a delightful 3-year-old girl within her family home.
She lives with her mum and brother and, although non-verbal, communicates beautifully through her expressions. She has a bright and playful personality and enjoys cuddles, sensory play, music, Disney films, walks and other calming activities.
Your role will be to support her with her clinical care needs, daily routines and nursery attendance, while encouraging her development through play and interaction. You'll also support her bedtime routine and provide overnight care, including observations and reassurance if she wakes.
This is a truly rewarding opportunity to build a meaningful relationship while helping a young child feel safe, happy and supported every day.
Key Responsibilities
* Delivering high-quality personal and clinical care
* Supporting with daily routines at home and during nursery
* Providing Tracheostomy Care
* Assisting with bedtime routines and overnight care
* Completing observations and promoting comfort throughout the night
* Encouraging sensory play, learning and engagement
* Working closely with the family and wider clinical team
Clinical Experience
Previous experience supporting children with complex clinical needs is essential.
You must have experience with:
* Tracheostomy Care
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
* Have a minimum of 3 months' paid care experience within the UK.
* Have previous experience supporting complex clinical needs.
* Have the right to work in the UK.
* Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate, child-centred care.
* Be willing to complete client-specific clinical training.
