HR Consultant – Job Evaluation
Location: City Hall, BS1 5TR
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: £42,839 per annum
Our public sector client is looking for an experienced HR Consultant – Job Evaluation to join their Workforce and Change team. This is an excellent opportunity to support fair and consistent job evaluation, organisational design and pay and grading initiatives within a collaborative HR environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert advice on job evaluation, grading and organisational design.
* Lead and support job evaluation exercises using recognised methodologies.
* Review and evaluate job descriptions and person specifications.
* Advise managers on restructures, role redesign and organisational change.
* Ensure job evaluation processes are fair, consistent and compliant with policy.
* Build effective relationships with managers, HR colleagues and trade unions.
* Analyse workforce data to identify trends and support continuous improvement.
* Promote equality, diversity and inclusion throughout all job evaluation activities.
About You
* Chartered CIPD member or equivalent HR experience with a commitment to achieving Chartered Membership.
* Experience of job evaluation within a complex organisation.
* Strong understanding of job evaluation principles and pay and grading frameworks.
* Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to influence, build relationships and provide practical HR advice.
* Confident using Microsoft 365 and HR systems.
