Bogie Fitter
Long term contract till December 2027
Monday to Fridays Days 7.30am to 3.30pm (40 hour week)
We’re on the lookout for a Bogie Fitter with real hands-on skill. If you’ve got experience in vehicle/Bogie/Rail overhauls, stripping and rebuilding.
Bogie Fitter Role
Full mechanical Fitting experience
Experience in large fitting environments, coach/vehicle builds
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics
Using hand and power tools for cutting, folding, and fitting
Quality checking builds for alignment and accuracy
Following Health & Safety procedures and maintaining a safe workspaceWhat You’ll Need as the Bogie Fitter
Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter in a fast-paced or technical environment
Strong ability to read and work from technical drawings
Confident with a wide range of hand and power tools
Problem-solver with a sharp eye for detail
Experience in vehicle fitting
Background in Aviation, Military, Marine, or similar sectors is an advantage
Ability to read basic electrical schematics is a bonusBogie Fitter Pay
Long term contract
PAYE £20.05ph
