Your new role
As Quality Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring product quality across finished machines and sub-assemblies. Working closely with the Quality leadership team, you will be responsible for inspection, reporting and quality control processes to ensure high standards are consistently achieved.Key responsibilities
Carry out final run and testing of machines
Lead and contribute to PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) report-out meetings
Complete PDI reports and associated documentation
Conduct internal audits and routine inspections of fabricated components
Identify, investigate and address quality concerns on a daily basis
Control and issue serial plates for completed machines
Escalate ongoing or recurring quality issues where required
Maintain and update dispatch records, including engine numbers and serial data
Support quality investigations and continuous improvement activities
Liaise with suppliers and customers, including supporting site visits when required
What you'll need to succeed
Basic IT/computer skills
Strong teamwork and communication abilities
Good awareness of health & safety practices
Ability to produce clear and accurate written reportsDesirable:
Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
Knowledge of heavy machinery or similar products
Continuous improvement experience
Electrical and/or hydraulic knowledge
