The Role
* Will be responsible for goods inwards inspection.
* You will ensure compliance to specification.
* Controls of non-conformance, retaining records and corrective and preventative actions.
* Manage final inspection of product.
* Will ensure quality of product in accordance with specification and standards.
* Maintaining calibration system.
* Assess for conformance to specification.
* Speak with customers and suppliers where necessary.
* Control of customer returns.
* Root cause through using 8D, cause and effect, etc.
* Maintenance of documentation.
The Person
* Experience in a similar role with in quality.
* Ability to use quality measuring tools/equipment.
* Must be organised, accurate and self-motivated.
* Engineering or manufacturing experience essential.
* Analytical thinking combined with effective communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
