About this Position:
This role is responsible for ensuring that vehicles and automotive components used within the manufacturing process meet required quality standards and specifications. Working within the Manufacturing Quality Inspection team, the position focuses on inspecting, validating and documenting product quality, supporting the resolution of quality issues, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to maintain consistent manufacturing excellence.
Job Responsibilities:
* Inspect outputs across manufacturing areas to ensure compliance with planned requirements and quality standards.
* Document quality deviations within the quality management system.
* Work closely with production and support teams to assist in resolving quality issues.
* Use precision measuring equipment and testing tools to verify dimensions, tolerances and performance.
* Support daily quality meetings.
* Maintain accurate data within quality management systems and associated tools.
* Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance quality, reduce defects and improve efficiency.
* Provide feedback and recommendations to improve inspection processes and product quality.
* Undertake ongoing training and development to remain current with inspection techniques and industry best practice.
Experience Required:
* Experience within a quality-focused, manufacturing or process-driven environment.
* Strong understanding of quality standards and the ability to follow process instructions accurately.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Effective communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Competent in the use of inspection, measurement and testing equipment
