We are seeking a highly skilled PDI Technician for a reputable vehicle logistics company based in Southampton, Hampshire. Conduct detailed pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles, focusing on hybrid and electric models
Use diagnostic software and electronic systems to identify and rectify complex electrical and mechanical faults
Perform advanced diagnostics, ADAS calibration, EV battery replacements, and wheel alignments
Record inspection and repair data accurately, either electronically or manually
Support general workshop activities, including vehicle prep, valeting, and minor body repairs
Assist with manufacturing and installation of accessories such as ply lining and shelving, with emphasis on electric vehicles
Enforce health and safety procedures in accordance with company policies
Collaborate with team members and mentor junior staff to maintain high standards of quality and efficiencyRequirements for the PDI Technician position:

Full UK driving licence
Level 3 hybrid and electric vehicle qualifications essential
Proven experience within an automotive workshop, ideally in a main dealer or logistics setting
Proficiency with diagnostic tools, electrical systems, and vehicle inspections
Strong mechanical aptitude and dexterity, with enthusiasm for emerging electric and hybrid technologies
Ability to adhere to strict processes and work effectively as part of a team
Skilled in using diagnostic software and workshop machinery
