We are currently recruiting for our client, a franchised dealership group in Newcastle, Tyne and Wear, for a PDI Technician.
Benefits for the PDI Technician:
Basic salary up to £34,000 depending on qualifications
OTE c £41,230
Monday to Friday hours: 8:30am to 5:00pm
1 in 3 Saturdays: 8:30am to 12:30pm
Overtime available
30 days annual leave including bank holidays
Supportive management structure
Full systems and process training
Ongoing manufacturer training to maintain skills for a fast-paced environment
Full systems and process training, plus access to cutting-edge equipmentDuties of the PDI Technician:
Carry out pre-delivery inspection and preparation of vehicles to dealership and manufacturer standards
Ensure mechanical and electrical checks are completed accurately and documented correctly
Identify and rectify faults prior to handover, maintaining high quality workmanship throughout
Prepare vehicles for customer delivery in line with group procedures and timelines
Maintain compliance with manufacturer requirements and internal quality standards as a PDI TechnicianRequirements:
Prior experience in a similar PDI Technician role
Good mechanical and electrical knowledge, with the ability to work to a high standard
NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair; NVQ Level 3 will be provided/available
