We are recruiting for an experienced and passionate HR Advisor to join a busy and forward-thinking Human Resources team within a growing manufacturing environment. This is a varied and hands-on role where you will act as the first point of contact for all HR-related matters, supporting employees and managers across the business. Working closely with the HR Director and wider leadership team, you will provide professional advice, manage key HR processes, and play an important role in supporting employee engagement, development, and organisational culture.

Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers on all HR-related matters
Provide accurate, consistent, and proactive HR advice, guidance, and support
Support managers with employee relations matters including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, and performance management
Manage long-term absence processes and support occupational health referrals
Manage day-to-day HR administration including probation reviews, return-to-work processes, letters, and employee benefits
Maintain accurate employee records and support HR reporting requirements
Manage the full end-to-end recruitment process for hourly paid roles
Create and post engaging job adverts aligned with recruitment strategies
Source, screen, and shortlist candidates, ensuring recruitment of high-quality talent
Conduct interviews and support managers with effective selection processes
Provide a professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey
Prepare offer letters, contracts, starter documentation, and onboarding information
Complete right-to-work checks in line with legislation
Provide support for training and development activities
Contribute to initiatives that strengthen company culture and team engagement
Analyse HR trends including turnover, exit interviews, absence, and employee relations data
Produce reports and insights to support business decisions
The Candidate
* Previous experience within an HR Advisor or similar generalist HR role
* Strong knowledge of HR processes, employee relations, and recruitment
* Experience supporting managers with HR advice and guidance
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
* Professional, approachable, and diplomatic manner
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
* Experience working within a fast-paced environment would be advantageous
* Confident using HR systems and Microsoft Office packages
* CIPD qualification or working towards this would be desirable
* Resilient, proactive, and able to remain calm under pressure
