Your responsibilities as HR Advisor
Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters including performance management, disciplinary issues, grievances and absence management
Produce contracts, letters and employment documentation in line with company policies and legislation
Support recruitment activities including job descriptions, candidate screening, interviewing and onboarding
Contribute to engagement initiatives, organisational change programmes and continuous improvement projects
Maintain accurate employee records and produce reports to support compliance, audits and decision-making
Review and support the development of policies to ensure alignment with current employment legislation and best practice
What we’re looking for in a HR Advisor
Previous experience within a generalist human resources position
Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and employee relations processes
Experience supporting managers with people-related matters and policy application
Previous involvement in recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle activities
Ability to maintain accurate HR records and produce meaningful management information
Working Hours
Mostly office-based with one day working from home. Full-time hours preferred, although part-time hours will be considered.
