Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Intervention Lead & Class Cover - Haringey
A successful and welcoming Primary School in Haringey is looking to appoint a talented Higher Level Teaching Assistant who is ready to make a real impact on pupils' learning and development.
This Higher Level Teaching Assistant position offers far more than a traditional support role. The successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant will take ownership of intervention programmes, support teaching and learning across the school, and confidently lead classes when required.
The school has a strong reputation for developing staff and is looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant who is enthusiastic, proactive, and keen to play a key role within the school.
Higher Level Teaching Assistant Responsibilities
Leading Maths intervention groups
Delivering lessons in KS2 as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Teaching a Year 5 class when required
Supporting pupil attainment and progress
Working closely with teachers to identify and close learning gaps
Promoting high expectations and positive behaviour throughout the school
