The Role – Behaviour Mentor
A specialist Primary SEMH School in Southwark is seeking a passionate and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join their team on a long-term basis, starting ASAP or from September 2026. In this role, you will support pupils both academically and emotionally, working closely with students on a 1:1 basis to help them regulate behaviour, engage with learning, and achieve positive outcomes.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will support pupils both inside and outside the classroom, helping to build confidence, develop emotional regulation strategies, and maintain a safe and structured learning environment. The successful Behaviour Mentor will be calm, proactive, and confident managing challenging behaviour and de-escalating situations effectively. Team Teach training is highly desirable for this role.
The School – Behaviour Mentor
This specialist Primary SEMH School is located in the heart of Southwark and is easily accessible via Borough and London Bridge stations, with onsite parking also available for staff. The school caters to approximately 50 pupils with SEMH needs, ASD, and challenging behaviour, providing a highly supportive and nurturing environment with small class sizes and strong staff support.
