Job Title: Float Pool ED RN

Location: Austin, TX

Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Shifts Per Week: 3

Scheduled Hours: 36 Hours per week

Hourly Pay: $32 - $53

Sign-On Bonus: $5,000

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Department Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care across our Greater Austin Region North facilities. This full-time position requires working night shifts and includes a rotating weekend schedule. As a Float Pool RN, you will utilize your clinical expertise in various emergency departments, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of patient care while promoting a positive and therapeutic environment for patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct accurate patient assessments and prioritize care based on patient needs.

Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans using the nursing process.

Monitor and manage patients' clinical conditions, responding effectively to changes.

Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.

Foster therapeutic relationships with patients and families, providing education and emotional support.

Advocate for patients' rights and ensure confidentiality, autonomy, and dignity.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Contribute to performance improvement initiatives and support evidence-based practice.

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program or 2 years of relevant work experience beyond minimum qualification.

Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required, with ED experience preferred.

Current Texas RN license or ability to obtain prior to start.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer).
