Shift: 12 HR Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Scheduled Hours: 36
Hourly Rate: $32 - $53

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for night shifts. This position is essential for delivering high-quality care to critically ill patients. You will be working in a mixed acuity 26-bed ICU, caring for both Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) patients. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of ICU nursing experience, with two years preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive patient care, including assessments, diagnosis, care planning, and evaluating patient responses.
Provide care for high-acuity patients with a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, general ICU patients with a 1:2 ratio, and Intermediate Care (IMC) patients with a 1:3 ratio.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Participate in shared governance and contribute to department quality improvement initiatives.
Mentor and support less experienced nursing staff, providing guidance on best practices.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
Minimum of one year of ICU nursing experience required, two years preferred.
RN - Registered Nurse in the state of Texas (or eligible for licensure).
BLS - Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire).
