About the Role
The EVS Supervisor reports to the Manager of EVS and is responsible for assignments of EVS attendants, porters, heavy porters to ensure the establishment of cleanliness standards in all public areas and employee areas
Position Responsibilities
Ensures the safety of team members in handling and storage of all chemicals used in the performance of their tasks
Continually checks to make sure team members have all the necessary supplies, equipment and tools to execute their tasks
Accountable for all equipment assigned to their area
Properly handles guest or maintenance requests and repeatedly follows up to guarantee these things are completed.
Essential Functions
Exposure to casino related environmental factors, including but not limited to, secondhand smoke, excessive noise and stress related to servicing customers in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the casino/hotel areas
Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and flexible shifts/hours
High School education or GED required
Minimum of three years’ EVS or Housekeeping experience in a high-volume Resort
Ability to effectively communicate in English
