Responsibilities:

What’s the position?

Our Due Diligence Associate will be an integral part of our operations team reporting to the Manager - Payments & Fraud. The Due Diligence Associate will primarily provide verification of customer identification and review KYC information. You will be responsible for:

Reviewing and approving Customer Identification Documentation in accordance with company policy.

Reviewing KYC information for accuracy and in line with customer identification information.

Performing OFAC review and documenting the support for clearing possible OFAC and watchlist matches on screening systems.

Performing VIP suitability review and documenting the support for clearing a player for our VIP program.

Conduct PEP/REP screenings and classify players as high risk or not based off your findings.

Review potential W2G transactions for dissemination of tax documents. As part of this duty, the associate will also fill out the W2G documentation.

Performing Enhanced Due diligence and reviewing affordability documentation including but not limited to source of income and source of wealth documentation when applicable.

Answering incoming calls promptly and warmly, greeting customers with a friendly and professional demeanor while gathering the necessary CIP information to complete onboarding verification.

Uphold and promote a positive brand image through every customer interaction by maintaining professionalism, friendliness, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an individual who has excellent written and verbal communication skills. The role is best suited for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with a passion for sports and gaming.

The ideal candidate will have:

As a regulated gaming company, you may be required to obtain a gaming license issued by the appropriate state agency as a condition of employment. 

Strong interpersonal skills

Have a desire and willingness to learn, proactively maintaining awareness of policies and procedures while complying with Responsible Gambling and Regulatory requirements.

The ability to adapt to changing priorities and to thrive in a face-paced work environment.

Have strong computer literacy and numeracy skills, and a keen attention to detail with the ability to multitask.

Previous experience in a customer verification, KYC, or affordability / due diligence related role but this is not essential.

Computer skills: Microsoft Office Software including Outlook, Word, and Excel
