Well&Nest LLC has partnered with a mid-size Litigation firm that services the legal needs of companies throughout California. They seek an experienced Employment Litigation Attorney to join their San Diego office.
Responsibilities
Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies
Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings
Advise clients by weighing available options toward a successful outcome and plan a course of action
Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions
Draft correspondence, legal pleadings, motions, and briefs
Communicate with partners, associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently
Qualifications
2-4 years of employment litigation experience.
Prior experience working in a law firm for a minimum of 2+ years is required
Wage and hour experience in both class action and PAGA
Experience managing and analyzing records to assess compliance issues on a representative basis
Significant experience in discovery and law and motion practice.
Excellent writing and oral advocacy skills
Communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills required
Jobseekers should be a member of their local bar association - active member preferred Association
Work independently while handling a heavy caseload
Computer skills working with iManage and Coyote Analytics preferred
Hybrid Schedule: 3 days in the office (San Diego), 2 days working from home
