About the Role:

Were seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join the hive on behalf of our clients. This role is based in San Diego, CA, and will require in-office attendance Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of family law experience and be ready to handle cases from inception to conclusion. If you're a highly motivated professional with excellent analytical and writing skills, we want to meet you!

Your Mission:

Assist supervising attorney in managing family law cases from start to finish.

Draft letters, pleadings, financial disclosures, mediation briefs, and trial briefs.

Propound and respond to discovery, prepare meet and confer letters, and prepare motions to compel.

Prepare deposition outlines and exhibits, defend and take depositions.

Prepare witness questions for evidentiary hearings and trials, and conduct legal research.

Prepare for and attend ex parte hearings, RFO hearings, and other legal matters.

Routine client contact and tracking of billable time.

Core Competencies:

3-5 years of family law experience, with the ability to manage cases from inception to conclusion.

Strong analytical and oral communication skills.

Excellent writing skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

Highly motivated professional with a positive, team-player attitude.

Ability to meet deadlines and produce high-quality work under pressure.

What You Bring:

Must be admitted to and in good standing with the California bar.

Strong desire and ability to handle family law matters from inception to conclusion.

Excellent writing and communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with a team in a professional environment.

Skills Required:

Family law case management, including drafting, discovery, and trial preparation.

Strong research and legal writing skills.

Ability to handle depositions and court hearings.

Proficient in legal research and preparing memorandums.

Certifications:

Must be admitted to the California Bar.

Education:

Law degree from an accredited law school.

Must be in good standing with the California Bar.
