Hourly Pay Rate: $30.00 - $45.00/hour (based on individual experience)

Job Overview:

The MultiModality Radiology will be responsible for performing a variety of medical imaging exams for patients of all ages. The position requires applying the principles, theories, and techniques relevant to the assigned modality to provide reliable imaging results. The Imaging Tech will also provide leadership in the daily workflow of the department and ensure efficient coordination between departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform medical imaging exams for patients of all ages using appropriate modalities.

Apply proper imaging techniques and ensure diagnostic-quality results.

Provide leadership and coordinate patient and department workflow on a daily basis.

Maintain confidentiality and ensure patient care is conducted with minimal supervision.

Operate office equipment and maintain applicable software programs for reporting and documentation.

Participate in regular communication with colleagues and provide accurate, timely imaging results.

Ensure regular, consistent, and punctual attendance at the assigned job location.

Follow established safety protocols and uphold a high standard of care.

Skills and Abilities:

Proficiency with computers and various software programs.

Ability to effectively interact with other departments and the public.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong interpersonal communication skills.

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

Education/Certifications/Licenses:

Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program.

Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in the relevant modality.

Must possess a valid Oregon Radiology license or a temporary permit if recently graduated from an approved program.

American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Must obtain Image Wisely and Image Gently pledge certificates within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter.

Associates or Bachelors degree is preferred.

Experience:

At least one year of experience in a hospital setting is preferred.

Certification Requirements:

ARRT

BLS
