Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Location: Greenville, NC
Shift Type: Days
Shift Times: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM
Hours/Day: 12-hour shifts (3 days a week)
Shift Notes: Weekends - Fri, Sat, Sun or Sat, Sun, Mon
Weekend Requirements: Yes
Hourly Rate: $27.00 - $30.00 with shift differential after 3 PM
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000
Job Overview:
As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for providing on-site diagnostic imaging services at nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other locations. You will use portable X-ray and EKG equipment to capture clinically diagnostic images for physician review. Your role is vital in providing accessible healthcare solutions to patients who may not have access to traditional hospital settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed radiography (CR) equipment.
Submit and transmit images to a radiologist for interpretation.
Perform EKGs as needed and transmit results to a cardiologist.
Maintain all required patient documentation, including billing and exam paperwork, and scan daily as per protocol.
Unload and transport portable X-ray equipment into facilities to perform physician-ordered exams.
Maintain regular communication with dispatch, management, and colleagues.
Ensure proper maintenance of vehicles and X-ray equipment.
Provide high-quality patient care and ensure radiation protection for patients, staff, and self.
