Overview:

The Gynecology Center at Mercy composes a team of highly-trained specialists with access to the latest technology, treatments, and state-of-the-art facilities. We are seeking a Physician Assistant to join our Gynecology team to advance the care of our gynecologic patients and work to support our minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon. 

This position is a full-time position providing office care at our Broken Land Parkway location in Columbia. The PA will also have the opportunities to work with our minimally invasive Gynecologic Surgeon in the operating room on selective dates.

Responsibilities:

Self-motivated individual who is adaptable, a quick learner, and is confident working independently

Coordinating care in an outpatient clinical based setting; seeing a wide variety of patients from routine gynecologic annual care to more complex gynecologic needs.

No obstetrical care beyond pregnancy diagnosis and early management is including in this position.

Comfortable with basic surgical techniques and patient care; surgical experience preferred. Interested in learning advanced concepts in acute perioperative and postoperative management.

Full-time position with schedule flexibility to allow for completion of surgical cases which may run late.

Minimal call requirements

Competitive salary with opportunity for productivity bonus. CME support available.

Qualifications:

Must be comfortable performing gynecologic exams independently for at least 6-12 months. Primary experience in women’s health preferred, but not required.

Must have completed a Certified Physician Assistant Program

License Requirements: Maryland PA License, DEA, CDS

Min:

USD $52.69/Hr.

Max:

USD $94.84/Hr.
