Implement educational and recreational activities focused on arts education, including music, visual arts, and creative movement.

Develop and execute a curriculum that supports the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children through artistic expression.

Assist children with arts-related projects and activities.

Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the facility at all times.

Communicate regularly with parents about their children’s progress and behavior.

Manage student behavior and resolve conflicts in a positive manner.

Provide appropriate supervision for children at all times.

Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and parents.

Facilitate various arts activities for children, including songs, games, and storytelling.

Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation procedures.

Ensure the classroom environment is well organized and maintained in the same condition as when the program started.

Foster a nurturing environment that promotes social-emotional learning and character development.

Implement activities and lessons that encourage empathy, cooperation, and respect among children.

Use positive reinforcement and modeling to teach children about self-regulation, responsibility, and kindness.

Create opportunities for children to practice problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

Support children in developing a strong sense of self and confidence in their abilities.

Requirements

Passion for arts education and working with children.

Ability to handle the unique challenges of an after-school setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Experience in early childhood education or a related field is preferred

Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of children.

Develop and implement creative curriculum for the after-school program.

Collaborate with other staff members to ensure positive outcomes for students.

Maintain a safe and stimulating play environment.
