As the Lead Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting creative cocktails, overseeing bar operations, and ensuring our guests receive outstanding service. You’ll lead a team of bartenders, manage inventory, and foster a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the beauty and spirit of Newport Pier.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including signature cocktails, wines, and craft beers.
Oversee bar staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area.
Create and update drink menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients and trends.
Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling costs.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with guests to enhance their experience.
Handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a bartender, with a minimum of 3 years in a lead or supervisory role.
Extensive knowledge of cocktail recipes, spirits, wines, and beers.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling.
