Summary:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Fit Technical Designer with experience in women’s woven and knits to join our team. Someone who has a real passion for construction and enjoys this line of work. As a Fit Technical Designer, your primary role will be dedicated to creating size-inclusive, well-fitting, and high quality garments.   Ideally someone who enjoys apparel, patterns and solving construction puzzles is highly desired. 

Key Responsibilities:

Managing product categories during fit sessions and work closely with the design team to execute fit intent.

Take notes during fit sessions and pics and upload to archive files.

Develop fit blocks, construction standards, and quality guidelines for multiple brands.

Experience sketching garments and creating tech packs preferred.

Partner with PD on hindsight analysis by product relating to fit.

Create and maintain all spec sheets in PLM.

Create and monitor the accuracy of all tech packs for production including POMs, BOM, Construction Callouts and Spec Changes.

Join the cross-functional teams in all pass off meetings to ensure all garment specifications are communicated effectively.

Set up tracking reports for all sample approvals, spec changes etc.

Coordinate with the design and production teams to ensure all garments are production ready in accordance with the company timeline.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Technical Designer with a minimum of five years experience.

Proficiency in using MS Office,  Adobe Illustrator, and PLM systems.

Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy and precision.

Bring expertise in textiles, pattern making, grading, construction and pattern terminology.

Knowledge of garments specs and grading.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 

The job will be on-site M-F. 

Spanish is a plus, but not required.
