The Laundry Place is excited to announce an opening for a Part Time a Associate Laundry Attendant (Floater) which is a flexible role designed to provide support across various shifts and locations within the laundry facility. This position requires a versatile and dependable individual who can adapt to different tasks, ensure smooth operations, and cover shifts as needed. The Floater will assist with daily laundry operations, uphold cleanliness standards, deliver excellent customer service, and ensure compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Support customers in using laundry equipment and explain our services and offerings.

Maintain cleanliness throughout the laundromat, including washing areas, restrooms, and customer seating.

Monitor machines and assist with removing items from washers and dryers as needed.

Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.

Help manage the inventory of laundry supplies and restock items as necessary.

Assist in light maintenance tasks to ensure optimal operation of all equipment.

Collaborate with team members to ensure a friendly and productive work environment.

Adhere to health and safety guidelines throughout the workday.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Prior experience in customer service or a similar role is a plus but not mandatory.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
