Job Description

We are looking for one talented individual to join our Benefits Implementation team. We are open to hiring at either of the levels outlined below based on qualifications and experience.

 In this role, you will support systems/applications for multiple business areas including Benefits Implementation/Configuration, Membership and Enrollment; including applying medical coding and terminology knowledge in the application and management of Wellmark’s medical benefit code sets to assist with benefit configuration and analysis of claim and compliance inquiries. The analysis of low to moderate complexity system or process changes to provide business requirements for necessary modifications. Establish and execute test cases to identify defects and assess the quality of system solution deliveries. You'll coordinate and communicate with team members and stakeholders to improve and arrive at a positive member experience supporting Wellmark’s strategies. In addition, you will assist with coaching and mentoring of other team members.

CPC, CPC-P, COC, CCS, CCS-P, RHIT, or RHIA, or the ability to obtain a medical coding certification within 6 months of hire will be needed in order to successfully complete this work.

 This is a non-IT role that is a part of Wellmark's Operations division.
