Job Title: Teacher of Science
Location: Canterbury
Start Date: 4th November 2024
Salary: £31,650 to £49,084 (In line with your current pay scale - PAYE)

Secondary Teacher of Science - Canterbury

Academics have been approached by a well-respected secondary school in Canterbury who require a teacher of Science to join them in November 2024

This vibrant and supportive school prides itself on excellent results in a caring atmosphere. The successful candidate would be joining a highly conscientious and exciting Science Faculty.

What skills and experience the school are looking for

What you will need to succeed:

Be a qualified Science teacher with the ability to teach either biology, physics or chemistry to KS4 pupils.
Passionate about teaching and learning and have a positive outlook and excellent interpersonal skills
Strong and effective classroom practice with high expectations for achievements and behaviour
Be able to plan and deliver a creative and stimulating curriculum and have a thorough knowledge of present curriculum development particularly those relating to Science
High expectations for yourself and the children to ensure that all of our children achieve their very best
You will be dedicated to ensure that all of our children achieve their very best
An aspiring leader of learning and happy to grasp exciting CPD opportunities
Contribute to the values, ethos and the development of our schools
