Role - Social Sciences Teacher

Location - Dover

Start Date and Duration - January 2025 - July 2025

Hours - Full time - long term

Salary - £31,650 - £49,084 depending on experience

Tradewind Recruitment are working with a secondary school in the Canterbury area who are looking to recruit an outstanding Social Sciences Teacher for a January start - full time until the end of the academic year - July 2025. The ideal candidate will have experience of teaching Social Sciences across KS3 and KS4 within a secondary school setting.

The role:

Plan and deliver Social Sciences lessons across KS3 and KS4 year groups
Monitor progress and provide additional support to ensure every student achieves their full potential
Liaise closely with the Social Sciences Departments, attending meetings and CPD training when requiredRequirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification
Proven experience of teaching across KS3 and KS4 students within a secondary setting
Excellent behaviour management skills
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Social Sciences
Legal Right to Work in the UK
