KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* SANITATION MANAGEMENT:Oversee sanitation activities with 2 other supervisors on 3rdshift. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and throughput processes.

* CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT:Drive improvement initiatives to enhance sanitation operations.

* EXPERT GUIDANCE:Provide expertise, work execution decisions, and compliance reviews for sanitation tasks.

* INVENTORY MANAGEMENT:Order and manage chemicals and cleaning products.

* SCHEDULING:Develop and maintain a master sanitation schedule.

* TEAM LEADERSHIP:Supervise and guide a team of 20-40 full-time sanitation technicians.

* COMPLIANCE:Assist with developing Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) in line with GMP and FDA regulations.

* SAFETY TRAINING:Conduct training sessions to comply with OSHA and company standards.

* POLICY ENFORCEMENT:Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

* PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT:Offer positive reinforcement, constructive feedback, and disciplinary actions as necessary.

* PROBLEM SOLVING:Utilize continuous improvement methodologies to identify and resolve issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* EDUCATION:BS/BA degree preferred or equivalent sanitation leadership experience.

* EXPERIENCE:At least 2 years of sanitation supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment; food manufacturing experience required.

* LANGUAGE SKILLS:Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.

* TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:Experience with wet clean, dry clean, CIP, or tear-down and clean processes.

* SHIFT AVAILABILITY:Willingness to work 3rd shift (11 pm 7 am).

* REGULATORY EXPERIENCE:Familiarity with HAACP, FDA, GMPs, AIB, USDA, SQF, or BRC preferred.

* COMMUNICATION SKILLS:Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

* LEADERSHIP:Proven ability to build effective teams and deliver results.
