Electrical Maintenance Engineer - PLC, Automation, and Robot Experience
Location: Lichfield, Staffordshire
Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 per annum, based on experience
Shifts: 3 rotating shifts
Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a passion for automation and robotics? We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team in Lichfield. You will be responsible for maintaining, improving, and repairing a variety of production equipment to ensure maximum efficiency and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair production equipment and plant facilities.
Diagnose mechanical and operational problems, implementing timely solutions.
Conduct preventative maintenance to optimise equipment performance.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
Provide technical advice on equipment specifications and modifications.
Manage inventory of spare parts and consumables to minimise downtime.
Keep maintenance documentation up to date.Skills and Experience Required:
Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of PLC systems
Experience with robots
Ability to diagnose and solve mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
