SUMMARY

The Intake Specialist will manage all administrative duties as it relates to the SHERO referrals. Duties include gathering supporting documents for all referrals and managing spreadsheets. The intake specialist will work closely with the Intake Coordinator and the SHERO Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with screening and reviewing all referrals

Ensure that all supporting data needed for the referral process is received from the referring partner

Update AWARDS and all spreadsheets

Manage the occupancy report

Work closely with SHERO subcontractors

Understand the eligibility requirements for all subcontractors in the SHERO program

Weekly visits to Rikers Island to conduct intake screenings

Conduct field work, as required

Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience working with homeless individuals required

Must have strong computer skills

Experience with AWARDS and Salesforce

Strong administrative skills

Strong data collection experience

Strong writing skills

Bilingual Spanish is preferred

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma; Bachelors Degree Preferred

3 years demonstrate
