Science Solutions are looking to recruit a Quality Engineer for one of our clients based in the Merseyside area.
To be considered for the role of Quality Engineer you must possess previous experience in a quality role, ideally 4+ years experience.
You must also have experience with Polyworks as well as CMM/Faro arm.
Role requirements
4+ years experience in a quality role to ISO9001 standards.
Previous experience in a customer facing role.
Degree in an engineering discipline is highly desirable, but not essential.
Experience in using Polyworks and CMM/Faro arm is essential for the role.
Any experience in injection moulding is also highly desirable.
Working experience or understanding of FMEA, PPAP, APQP, SPC, MSA and more.
Role responsibilities
Liaising with customers on a daily basis to understand specifications of orders.
Maintain and develop the ISO9001 QMS.
Engage in NPI activities across cross functional divisions.
Generate process related documentation including work instructions, control plans, quality alerts and more.
Supervise and lead a team of 3 shift personnel
