£40,000 + Training, Pension and Holidays
Due to ongoing investment in the millions into their site and a variety of exciting upcoming projects, this employee-owned manufacturer in the Merseyside area are looking to bring in a Quality Engineer into their team to support with their continued growth, offering excellent working conditions, a family style environment, and vast training opportunities.
Role Description
Develop and maintain the Quality Management System in accordance to ISO9001
Support with New Product Introduction projects, also supporting with production trials.
Work with customers, suppliers, and associated teams to ensure compliance, managing any resolving any non-conformances
Generate quality and process related documentation - PFMEA's, Control Plans, work instructions etc.
Oversee changes in engineering processes from a quality perspective
Report on Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ)
Lead a team of 3 shift QC personnel
Skills and Qualifications
Experienced with core quality tools - FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC
Experienced operating Polyworks, Faro Arm, and CMM
Automotive industry or related experience is very advantageous
Ability to interpret technical drawings
Engineering qualificationExperience within the automotive industry
