Attends mandatory staff meeting and other meetings as assigned.

Initial point of contact for employees and provides excellent customer service.

Assists with full cycle recruiting responsibilities to include create and managing job postings, opening requisitions in the ATS, sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, conducting applicant interviews, scheduling interviews for hiring managers, providing candidate summaries to hiring managers and extending offers of employment.

Assists as a contact on employee relations issues and questions.

Assists in the collection of required annual documentation such as; Bureau of Motor Vehicle Checks

Attestation forms

OIG (Medical Exclusion Checks)

Assists with day-to-day efficient of the HR department including but not limited to audits, annual background checks, and annual TB tests.

Duties surrounding New Employee Orientation: Collect and file all documents from all new hires to ensure employee files are complete and compliant with licensure regulations

Collection and documentation of TB tests or Chest X-Rays/Assessments

Entry of new hires into HRIS including time sheets

Assists in responding, managing, and resolving conflicts with employees and managers.

Assists in conducting investigations into allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, hostile work environment, and other serious policy violations.

What you need to be considered...

Minimum Associate’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Minimum 1-year experience in office position.

Previous experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and/or Human Resource Information Systems preferred.

Proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Minimum age of 21 per licensure requirements.

Must meet and maintain background screening requirements for all Damar Programs

Valid Indiana driver’s license and driving record that meets eligibility requirements of Damar’s insurance carrier (for all positions requiring driving)

Successful completion of pre-employment physical required. 

Essential Job Functions:

Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight (up to 35lbs); to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; to travel to other locations using various modes of private and commercial transportation; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.

Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction.

Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
