Job Title: Works Manager (Permanent)
Location: Bridgwater, Somerset (Hinkley Point C)

Role Overview:
We are working with a large contractor seeking a Works Manager for a major energy project in Bridgwater. Your role will involve:

Leading by example in safety, quality, and environmental best practices.
Managing site supervision, subcontractors, and workforce.
Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and legislation.
Overseeing project schedules, resources, and operational activities.
Attending safety, commercial, and business meetings.
Developing and managing the team, including training and performance reviews.
Maintaining professional standards and managing client relations.Requirements:
Mandatory:

Prior experience at managerial level
Strong knowledge of safety, environmental issues, and civil engineering.
Excellent people management and communication skills.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, BIM 360, and other site management tools.
NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management, SMSTS certification, and experience with NEC contracts.Desirable:

First Aid certification.
