P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking an E-Marketing & Events Executive to join their team based in Lowestoft on a full-time, permanent basis.

Role Summary:

Responsible for planning, developing and executing e-marketing campaigns in both the gardening and sport markets to drive engagement, increase sales and enhance customer retention. Also to manage and co-ordinate events and catalogue production.

Main Responsibilities:

Develop and execute email marketing strategies to drive retention and win back customers, nurture leads, and promote products offered by the brands.

Building compelling and personalised email content (newsletters, promotional campaigns, and automated campaigns) using templates with copywriting and asset coordination.

Segment email lists based on customer data, behaviour, and preferences to deliver targeted and relevant messaging.

Managing and developing content plans alongside another member of the marketing team, with the ability to write effective and engaging copy, in line with the brands’ tone of voice guidelines.

Optimise email templates for maximum impact and deliverability.

Oversee and continuously improve the customer journey.

Monitor email performance metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and revenue generated, and use insights to optimise campaign effectiveness.

Stay up to date with email marketing best practices, industry trends, and regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR) to ensure compliance and maximise results.

Event & exhibition management and co-ordination.

Co-ordinating key catalogue and brochure production (on/offline) through all stages including product selection, pagination planning, creative stages and final print.

Qualifications and Experience:

GCSEs Grade A-C in Maths and English / A-levels/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.

HND or Degree (Marketing desirable).

Proven experience working in a similar role for 5+ years.

Hands-on experience with email marketing and automation.

Building, sending and reporting on emails.

Passionate about marketing technology, data analysis and social media.

An eye for detail and design, and a solid understanding of brand and customer.

Demonstrate clear ROI on marketing activity.

Good knowledge/use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CANVA and Photoshop.

Person Specification:

Understanding of CRM.

Experience using ESPs.

Exceptional creative writing with impeccable spelling and grammar.

A/B testing and experimentation to improve email content, subject lines, and calls to action.

Strong data analytical skills.

Impeccable interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively with colleagues.

Has a “Can do” attitude and a high level of attention to detail.

Excellent integrity and professionalism.

Able to juggle multiple projects and prioritise time.

Ability to work on own and use initiative.

Has a flexible approach to achieve deadlines and/or company/team objectives.

Self-development – identifies own training needs and sees them through to fruition.

Desire to exceed targets.

Self-motivated and seeks to be challenged and stretched.

Excellent understanding of internal and external customer needs.

Full clean driving licence.

Working Hours:

Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:00 (40 hours per week)

Working hours will be flexible, to suit customer and workflow demands.
