Pre-Sales Cloud Advisor

Our client is looking for a talented Pre-Sales Cloud Advisor to join their Technology Solutions team, where you’ll have the opportunity to work with a strong portfolio of industry-leading clients and contribute to groundbreaking cloud projects.
About the Role:
As a Pre-Sales Cloud Advisor, you will take ownership of the entire project lifecycle—from pre-sales discovery to final delivery. You’ll engage with clients, architect AWS-based solutions, and work closely with our engineering team to ensure best practices are implemented. This is your chance to shape the future of cloud infrastructure for our clients and help them achieve success through AWS solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive projects from initial discovery and pre-sales through to final delivery.
Architect AWS applications tailored to customer requirements, ensuring adherence to industry and AWS best practices.
Engage with clients throughout the project, handling requirements gathering, quoting, and tracking progress.
Design and prototype AWS cloud infrastructures and create comprehensive technical and security architecture documentation.
Collaborate with Engineering during project builds, ensuring DevOps best practices are followed.
Act as an escalation point for Cloud Engineers during builds, providing technical leadership.
Attend industry and cloud events and meet with clients to strengthen relationships.
Mentor junior Account Management staff, promoting continuous learning and professional growth.
Stay updated on industry trends and AWS advancements.
Required Technical Expertise:
3+ years of AWS Solutions Architecture experience.
At least 1 AWS Associate-level certification.
Hands-on experience in a DevOps environment (Linux, Git, CI/CD Pipelines).
Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (CloudFormation or Terraform).
Experience with serverless applications (event-driven, microservices, etc.).
Strong networking knowledge, including IP ranges, subnetting, routing, and VPNs.
Exceptional documentation skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Expertise:
AWS Professional or Specialty-level certifications.
Knowledge with containers or Kubernetes.
Previous experience in cloud migrations.
